How to Make a Contestant Pack

Create custom contestant characters for The Choicer Voicer game show — player images, reaction audio, podium colors, and host introductions.

Contestant Pack Overview

Contestant packs (also called player packs) define the character you appear as during The Choicer Voicer game show. Your contestant has a name, a visual appearance, podium colors, and can speak in response to game events like winning, losing, or receiving specific judge scores.

Contestant packs belong in the packs_player folder inside your game directory, accessible from the main menu.

Contestant Images

Every contestant needs an image file named player (PNG or JPG). PNG is recommended because it supports transparency. Follow these guidelines for the best results:

• The image bottom edge aligns with the studio floor. Add empty space at the bottom to shift the character upward.
• The image is not scaled by the game — a small image creates a small contestant, a large image creates a large one.
• Aim for approximately 500 pixels wide by 1000 pixels tall to fit the podium properly.

Contestant Reaction Audio

Contestants can play audio clips in response to nine different game events. Each event supports one audio file, and the filenames can be anything — you assign them in the in-game Customization menu.

The nine triggerable events are:

• Being introduced by the host
• Winning the game
• Losing the game
• Getting a judge score of 0
• Getting a judge score of 1
• Getting a judge score of 2
• Getting a judge score of 3
• Getting a judge score of 4
• Getting a judge score of 5

Contestant Configuration

The in-game Customization menu lets you configure:

• The contestant display name.
• Two podium and score panel colors.
• The introduction line spoken by the host.
