Official Game: Windows & Linux Only

The official The Choicer Voicer game ($5 on itch.io) is available for Windows and Linux only. There is no native mobile app, iOS version, or Android APK at this time.

If you want the full experience with local multiplayer, Twitch mode, and Dub Mode, you will need a Windows or Linux PC. See our download page for system requirements.

Tips for Mobile Browser Play

  • Use landscape mode — rotate your device horizontally for a wider game view and easier interaction.
  • Use headphones — earbuds with a built-in mic give better audio isolation than your phone's speaker and mic combo.
  • Close background apps — free up memory and prevent audio interruptions from notifications.
  • Use a stable connection — Wi-Fi is recommended over cellular data for smoother loading.
  • Try full-screen mode — tap the full-screen button in your browser for an immersive experience.

Microphone Tips on Mobile

Mobile browsers handle microphone access differently from desktop. When prompted, tap Allow to grant mic permission. If you previously denied access:

  • iOS Safari: Settings → Safari → Microphone → check site permissions, or clear website data and reload.
  • Android Chrome: Tap the lock icon in the address bar → Permissions → Microphone → Allow.

For best results, hold your phone at a consistent distance from your mouth and speak clearly. Avoid noisy environments — mobile mics pick up more ambient sound than desktop headsets.
